It was a time full of laughter, singing, lots of kids, and just.....pure loudness at the end of the school year "party." We walked over to the other side of the courtyard to attend the end of the year award ceremony, party and lunch at the Sheltering Wings primary school. They announced the different grades' top ranked students and gave a special recognition to the school's winning soccer team. Afterwards we got invited to lunch with the teachers. It was the first time I ever ate goat, and let me tell you....not bad. We also had rice and then the soda of our choice; I stepped out of the box and had Fanta Mandarine. Pretty good. And to top it off we ate it all with our hands. Truly African style. Great day.....minus the ridiculous dust storm that blew through, leaving a layer of dust throughout the house...but other than that....wonderful!
